Lane's
Affirmations
I
am perfect as I am, as I truly am at my core. My challenge
is not to be better.
It is to more often live in, and from, the center of myself.
~~
I
breathe, therefore I am. And it is enough.
~~
At
this moment, I have all I need.
I lack for nothing; I am complete.
~~
I
cannot live in the past;
I can only dwell on it.
Instead, I will live in today.
~~
Today,
I will give my best
to everything I do
and to everyone I meet.

Thoughts
to Consider
If
prayer and passage meditation are talking to God, silent
meditation is listening to God for the answers. After
prayer or passage meditation, I always sit, at least for a
few minutes, in silent meditation in case God has something
to say to me.
~~
I
can never change the past, but I can learn from it. I can
only change my future by what I do today. It seems to me,
then, the best thing I can do is focus on this moment, this
task, and bring my spirit to bear.
